The Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF) Meditation Group Vienna was founded in 1969 for the purpose of promoting the spiritual growth of members and guests through group meditation and a spiritual community.  Currently there are two meditation groups in Vienna. Our group is located in the city center, in the 8th district, called "Josefstadt".

The meditation group includes members and friends of Self-Realization Fellowship, a worldwide nonprofit organization, that was founded in 1920 by Paramahansa Yogananda (author of Autobiography of a Yogi). Services, meditations and spiritual celebrations are held regularly in the peaceful environment of our group rooms.

We welcome followers of all religions to benefit from the spiritual teachings and meditation techniques, as yoga is based on practice and experience and not on adherence to certain beliefs.

For further immersion in the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, you are cordially invited to our book room. It offers a wide range of literature, pictures, CDs and DVDs and much more. We can also order individual items upon request.
